Could I ask for more help please?

Hi again,
Well. after my saga with installing FSX Gold, I have a couple more questions.
1) How can I be outide the plane when I wish to be? All positions. I think this might help my flying developement.
2) I'm using the Saitek Cyborg X f.l.y. Does anyone have a list of button fuctions that would help me program the joystick. I know there are many options but I want to program the important buttons.
#) Can anyone suggest good addons or downloads that would help me and at the same time enhanse the experience too.
Thanks in advance and happy flying.

1)To get outside you need to click on the 'View' tab at top of picture, then scroll or mouse pointer move down to 'View mode' then 'Outside' & then the appropriate camera view. I have programmed my #2 button on my Saitec to switch the standard views & then use the Hat switch for pan & tilt.
2)When you first open up FSX you need to go into the settings, then controls button, then hit the Buttons/keys tab. Then you can assign what key or stick button.
This is the same as FS9.
#) cannot suggest any addons etc as I much prefer FS9 - I do not get a good enough frame rate in FSX

The keys you need to learn are 'S' and 'A'. Pressing 'S' will cycle you through four views usually, VC cockpit, outside spot view, tower view and a top down view (like a map). The 'A' key will cycle though sub-views in two of the above instances. In the VC cockpit hitting 'A' will cycle you through views set by the designer but usually include left seat, right seat, gauges view, radios view, overhead panel view, etc. In outside spot view hitting 'A' will again cycle you through views set by the designer but these could include things like engine view, belly view, wing view, gear view, etc.
If you are new to flight simming and FSX I strongly recommend you work your way through the 'Lessons' section of the sim and then try some of the 'Missions' . Both of these will answer many of your fundamental questions and get you flying. The FSX help file is also a very useful resource.

Look in the Help section as controller assignment is fully covered in there.
