And only at night.
This is the first one I've witnessed in full bloom. I don't know much about it except its white, flowers only at night - once a year, blossoming from a cactus
of the Epiphyllum group, and commonly known as a night blooming cereus.
.... and to think if I hadn't gotten food poisoned. I'd have missed it.....aren't I lucky

Once a year, and at night ? Nature can be very odd.

Having a look at the cactus this morning, I noticed three new buds
Having read more about these blooming wonders of the night, epiphyllum oxypetalum regularly produce more than one flower annually. ......more to come...
