Hi Sam

Yeah.. I liked the Alpha Frightning (especially the twin seaters) That second screenie reminds me very much of my first encounter with a Lightning at Farnborough when I was just a wee puppy. Got off the coach which had arrived late.. heard this monster sound and looked around to see a Lightning coming down the runway at not a great height then pull up vertical. To say I was gobsmacked is an understatement!

Talking of Farnborough, the first one was done from Boscombe Down. The morning after the final show we found all our aircrafts' tigers looking very natty with top hats, monocles and bow ties!

I dunno but I'm guessing as Sam said it was now ?V-something.. the model remains payware and is ex-Alphasim/now Virtavia. It may be that the paint Sam shows is courtesy of SOH

I think the F1 is the FS2004 payware version from Alphasim. It appears SOH is just posting FSX mods for this aircraft.

yes sorry, its a port of the old Alpha but works well..
