Well, Ive only gone and done it.

Finally I'm a daddy. Our beautiful little baby girl, Phoebe, was born at 14:19 this afternoon weighing 7Ib2oz.

The feeling when she arrived was like nothing I have ever felt before.

I write this on my iphone whilst still at the hospital where my exhausted wife and baby now sleep!

Can't wait for a good nights sleep. Been awake for the last 38hrs.

This was due to a rather complicated labour plagued with unforeseen problems.

Anyway that's over and a new chapter of my life begins today!

Ok whose for a beer, I'm buying!!

Just got home. Wife has been admitted to hospital for 3 days as a routine precaution following an emergency cesarean.

I'm about to crawl into my pit and snooze like I've never snoozed before. Well, until the morning when I am back at the hospital.

Meanwhile, I give you our little girl - Phoebe.

Congratulations to you both, a great day indeed! Having two daughters myself, I can promise you there is much to look forward to. Welcome, little Phoebe.
