Leif. you've answered one of my questions about Aer Turas. I didn't know whether they carried passengers or were all cargo. All the pictures I found look to be all cargo and I was trying to decide whether to include the fore and aft cargo doors. My next two will be Donaldson and Monarch and I have the same question. I've been to London a few times but know almost nothing about these three carriers.

They were ALL Cargo GH - I was a loadmaster for International Aviation Services and we were farmed out quite often -- I flew on Aer Tearass, Transvalairs CL44 and a couple of other aircraft in Africa in the Mid 70s "on loan" ;)

Donaldsons started as pax but were quickly converted to cargo which is how they ended their days

Monarch being Cosmos airline were passengers although as my memory serves they did fly some cargo flights

Invicta had G-ANCF in cargo config then when the RAF started selling off the 200 series they appeared in MANY colours usually out of Luton.
Mainly due to Airline Engineering holding such a large supply of parts and tooling for the Brit.

By the way Jens is a fine model but IMO doesnt hold a candle to Garry Russells as yet unreleased Brit - married to Fraser McKays panel THAT
is the definitive Whispering Giant

Thanks for the information. Guess I'll add the cargo doors. I'll be looking forward to Garry's Britannia.

By the same token the current HouseDragon is not in the same league as her replacement, but I keep waking up before HD2 turns up and besides I need feeding from time to time............ :worried: :hide:

oh forgot to mention -- BAA had an "ATEL" cargo door - with the Pax door built inside it -- built to take 108" palletts.
It also appeared in several different paint variations (as did all Aer Turas aircraft it seems)

Thanks once again, Leif. Once that's done, I'm done.

Consider it under the door. I uploaded a version for FS9 and a version for FSX . I can't test it in Fs9 as I don't own a copy so if anyone has a problem, let me know. Happy flying!
