An FSX repaint of G-BGJV? (HS 748)

Came by this repaint of G-BGJV for Rick Piper's HS 748, but, unlike the repaints packaged with the model, it didn't work in FSX. Would remedying this be relatively straightforward?

Ah.. a paint Techy111 actually managed to finish :worried:

What doesn't work in FSX David? I think Rick made the FSX installer change various locations of textures to make it work in FSX so there's no reason why that one shouldn't. Some paints require a texture.cfg file inside each texture folder so have a look inside one of your working textures and check for differences against Tony's repaint. You should be able to make it work in the same fashion as the others ;)

Thanks for the speedy response, Dave:

Parts of the aircraft, inside (in the virtual cockpit) and looking from outside, are "invisible" in the same sort of way as the "invisible" car Pierce Brosnan drives in that James Bond film.

That sounds a good idea -- thanks. I'll experiment a little later.

Cheers for the errrr compliment Dave ;)

Thought there was known issues with the 748 in FSX with small "gaps" in the VC?

Have you tried downloading the slightly updated version ?

Love to help but have no PC or any desire to own one !!!

Maybe Rick will pop on to help ?

Good luck .

Tony

Hi Tony,

These are different; they're more of them (including some when looking at the plane from outside) and they're sort of see-through ("invisible" but noticeable) rather than filled with sky, etc.

I'm not sure -- where should I look, please?

Thanks,
David
