Dave,
'MH has been at EGPH since February with a pilot I can't find. Mind if I take it back to Heathrow??

Similarly there is a 1-11 at Dusseldorf I noticed when I routed through there recently. Been there a good while with no pilot so I might well return it home

Hi Richard
The 'Dusseldorf' aircraft isn't abandoned.. it's there on purpose to serve the German internal routes

It was never intended to make Dusseldorf an 'official' homebase in case the airframe were to be rotated (slightly confusing I know) but that's why it's there. I started doing the German 'internals' a year or so ago and stopped at Dusseldorf before flying back to Manchester. Unbeknown at the time, I clicked on 'Dusseldorf' airframe rather than the one I'd been flying.. realising too late (when I clicked on the client flight page) and ended up flying to Manchester then bringing it all the way back to Dusseldorf to take the correct airframe!
Anyway.. there you go. The current 1-11 at EDDL is there to serve the German internal routes and can be used by any 1-11 pilot for use on those routes.. unless of course the last pilot to fly it is still at Dusseldorf

The 'Dusseldorf' aircraft isn't abandoned..
I was thinking that too... until I looked down the fleet stats and saw that the 1-11 at EDDL is G-AXJK.
Last flown by Colin Kerr Nov 2009 on a Training flight, so it looks like it has been abandoned.
There certainly used to be a G-AVM? 1-11 in Germany on purpose, but it ain't there anymore.
AXJK can be brought back home.

Hi DM..
I've just tracked back through the stats and it looks like Colin Kerr flew it off station back to Manchester and rather than take it back, he took another.. that's assuming it was AVMR (which I believe it was)

Yes, he flew AXJK out there for one of the training flights, but flew AVMR back.
Does that count as a fail?
Thinking about it, do we actually tell 'em to bring the same one back when doing the training?

Can you not do like the real airlines did and base an airframe somewhere for training??
G-ARPM was a Shannon for ages as was G-ARVM at Prestwick and G-APDE didn't fly pax but was Teeside based just for training
That way you could have a proper training routine and not lose aircraft
