A job well done......

Following the release of the AIIB report, the
video footage is now public domain. I believe the aircraft just clips the stone wall between fields resulting in the violent pitch down and unfortunately a lot of the damage to the aircraft. Nevertheless, it's an outstanding piece of airmanship - Cumbria is not the place to loose all your engine oil !

Garry,
thanks goodness it had a dafe outcome
Is that a "safe outcome" or a "daft outcome"
Edit:
Just watched the footage. That must rate as a very unusual video in the circumstances.
I have to say, he stayed a lot calmer than I would have been, and as the title say's "A job well done".

I must have watched that flight vid this morning at the same time the rest of the world was looking in and for it's entire length, it would be viewable for say 5secs then buffer for 5secs

I would've given up under normal circumstances but I wanted to see the end!
As Mark said, I think you'd have heard the odd bit of Anglo-Saxon had I been him

I felt for his plight when that low stone wall came into view with his name on.

Glad he wasn't too badly hurt
