Just getting everything re-installed and thought I would post these for no reason other than the fact they look nice. :)

Here you go, matey. Version 1.20 is the current 'latest' version. Included are Pam Brooker's new FDEs, and she's done a terrific job with it.

All seven repaints, including the ones you see above, come in a single installer. Back up your original Goose folder first.

If you have Shockwave's ( now A2A ) LIghts Redux, there is a patch available too. Just patch, then run the Lights Redux installer once more. It will catch the Goose and apply the new lights.

Yes...not so much a repaint as a depaint. :lol:

The re-installation of FSX is going very well indeed. On the 'blank canvas', I'm now developing the S.E Asia / Australasia / Pacific region with a view to using Air Hauler there. I've added Thomas Trewin's 5-part 'Oceania' mesh, which covers Australia, New Zealand (including Auckland Islands & Macquarie Island), PNG/Irian Jaya, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Micronesia, Solomon Islands, New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji Islands and all other Pacific Islands (except The Hawaiian Islands but no problem because I have Megascenery's Oahu anyway ).

On top of that, I've laid Scenery Tech's Indo-Pacific landclass which came in at a reasonable 12.49 Euros.

Its led to some very enjoyable exploration flights in the Goose which, as an amphibian, is ideal ..and a bit swifter than the otherwise perfect Aerosoft Catalina. Here's an interesting island called Witu, on a bearing of 070 from Cape Gloucester on the western tip of New Britain. I think the correct geological description is a 'caldera'...

Have flying boat, must land..or 'water'...

In through the seaward side;

Touch down. The new wake effects that come with the OzX Goose repaints are very impressive;

Another flight, off Kavieng at dawn:

I'm very much an armchair historian of the Pacific war, so having a new mesh and landclass for that region makes it all incredibly interesting. South Daughter volcano at Rabaul is a bit weird, but other than that, so far I am hugely pleased. FSX is just fabulous.
