Greetings fellow simmers :hello:

Would any of you nice folks out there in CBF land be able to point a nice person who looks very much like me in the direction of a paintkit for the Alphasim C130' It seems it was included in the original payware package but does not appear to be available now. have searched the usual and some of the not so usual places but I have had to admit defeat. :worried:

I appreciate it isn't actually a British aircraft but it is pretty popular over here and it is for a British VA ;)

Should anyone be able to help they shall forever be remembered as a friend of the MATVA Group and I promise to tell everyone I know what a wonderful person they are. :agree: :agree:

Hi Louie :hello:

I'm sure whoever turns up with a C130 PK will be more than pleased with their instant fame  I often kick myself because for a large majority of my Alpha purchases, I never bothered downloading the PK's and now of course, it's too late anyway. As it happens, the Alpha C130 is one of the few models I didn't get (I have the CS version/s) so I'm not able to help I'm afraid. Fingers crossed someone turns up with it ;)

Perhaps sending an email to Alphasim asking for the paintkit may help.

Greets Dave :hello:

I am still setting up our Canadian Division (remember Viscount post) and have set up the routes using the Mike Stone C130 we have always used. In my usual never ending search for improvements I came across the Alphasim offering. I have to admit it isn't perfect but it is fairly flyable. I thought their LC model, the one with the ski's/tackety boots, might be kind of handy up there in Resolute Bay and the like. But as is usual when I'm looking for one thing I discovered something else, a Mike Stone LC version which would of course only require minor alterations to existing repaints. So the obtaining the Alpha paintkit, though useful, isn't quite as important as it was.

But be aware that the same undiluted fame mentioned earlier still awaits anyone who can point me the direction of an Alpha paintkit. Being famous in Moniack, Inverness-shire must be of some value to someone.  ;)

Greetings also Austerdriver :hello:

I believe they offer absolutely no support for the models they now offer as freeware. :)

That may be true but you never know until you ask them.

They may just have what you are looking for if you explain what you are doing.
