Latest from Earth Simulations has been released. Autogen trees for the UK photo scenery, in three volumes. Looks pretty good, very tempting.

Hi Tom
Tks for the HU on this. On the face of it, £14.99 (ex-VAT) seems a lot of cash for trees but.. GenX is sadly lacking in any form of vegetation and if the trees are as accurately placed as they look.. perhaps the outlay might be worth it. I've been flying around Scotland of late and the difference even the default autogen trees make goes some way to negate the lack of photoreal ground textures. I just wish I could be sure this pack would run without shooting my FR's in the foot

I guess there's only one way to find out!

I'll admit I read that twice before the penny dropped (though I realised something wasn't right first time round)

I agree, as much as I love the photo scenery, the lack of 3D objects really does just look wrong. Maybe this package will deal with the root of the problem

(sorry I'm new to this pun game)
I'll be getting it once my pc is sorted and I can download it in less than the 6 hours it took for the Scilly Isles
Think it's meant to be relativley FR easy, something to do with the way the trees are handled as Autogen objects, but we'll see.

You might like to look at the shots in this thread:-

The trees really look great and the poster is comparing them to the real life trees in his area.
