Saw SAA and BAA holding over mid channel and others holding off Dover.....nothing near London

Hi Garry.I was on a steam rail trip yesterday from Edinburgh to Ayr return.The line goes right past Prestwick so I took my airband.Of course there was nothing happening because it was closed.I didn't know until I saw it on tv when got home.There was nothing on the ATIS about it that I heard.It was still a good day out!
In case anyone is interested the engine was 45407 a black5.

There were a few closed up North a West yesterday
ATM there are a couple of 777's G-VIIA, G-VIIR going around an enless loop over the SW of the IoW

Seems to be sort of moving for longer range at least but there appears to be many cancellations.
