Not a happy bear!!
i bought a new phone on contract last November...!! i took out insurance, wise me thinks..
the phone is a Blackberry, and i use it alot, £295 to replace the handset.....
i bought it from phones4U, and it's an orange contract, the insurance is with Phones4U!
today i wanted to load some pics from the phone to my pc, i connect the usb, then i get a messege, through the blacberry desktop manager, that i must update the phones software, ok me thinks no problems!!!
half way through...update failure on the PC, Reload software on phone!!!
i ring Orange, reply, "your phone is F+_{}@D" ok i say what about a new one, well orange say £15 admin fee..... but your insurance is not with us, so no can do cough up £295
ring phones4U, they say ah because your phone is less than 6 months old, it will cost a minimum of £50 excess!!!!!
i say but what if it's over six months old, they say ah only £10...
how they work that out i dont know!!!
so i say what!!!
, i do as instructed or else my insurance / warranty is invalid, and when i do it goes tits, and now i still have to cough you must be joking.... so im not a happy cucumber or bear for that matter, and what about them robbing GITS!!!!
