Travel: A Day at the Beach

Another day off from work, so another destination...this time Dania Beach in Florida. Bikini-clad women, sand, and sun sounds good to me so off we go.
Another Texas sunrise.

This place looks familar.

The Gulf of Mexico...again.

The western coast of Florida!

1904. See DaveB, we have historical places here in the US.

Almost there...

Nice!

Ahhhhhh...

Busted!

Lady, I was taking a pic of the sailboat...I
swear it!

A view to the north...

...and a view (from a pier) to the south.

A bar and grill conviently located next to the beach's bus stop. We have just enough time for a couple of beers ($4.50 each

) before heading back to the airport and home to Texas.

.
Thanks for looking.
Brian

Love the pictures. Although my beer kitty would run down real quick with those prices..!
Thanks for sharing.

I take it that means years and not 4mins past 7 in the evening
The lady on the beach would have seen you only had a little one (lens that is) so wouldn't have been fussed by your claims of taking the imaginary sail boat behind her
Tks for posting Brian

We had rain here today.. which started as I'd managed 4 rows with the lawn mower

That looks like a nice day out, Brian. You're certainly making the most of the benefits of the new job. Fancy hopping over to Florida for lunch
Of course, the price of the beers includes the vacation atmosphere. If you just wanted beer you could have gone to a bottle shop
Thanks for the pics, they really sum up the feeling of being there. BTW, I missed the sailboat?

I'm glad you understood what Joe was talking about Brian cause to be honest, he had me lost (and frequently does)

I've even tried the 'Translate' button to no avail
