Concorde Engine Starting

I have been flying the Concorde (www.freewebs.com/fsxaddons Model By: Razgriz_10000 "Eric Buchmann") and just as it says on the tin, the engines are not running when the aircraft is initially selected. It looks and sounds like they are but they don't respond. However, if you do what the author recommends and select a light aircraft, fly it , shut down and restart its motor, as if by magic, when you select Concorde again, the engines are available.
Can anyone think of a fix to the Concorde Aircraft programme to get around this fiddle?
Oh by the way, you have to set your own fuel load to get within cg limits and prevent the thing tipping up on its tail. (80.5: 80.5: 80.5: 10 in the 4 tanks works well and gives a total fuel of about 62 tonnes, sufficient for transatlantic with reserve)
Apart from the above, it flies well and the transatlantic profile recommended and fuel movement are excellent.
Oh and I added 2 DME gauges.

I honestly couldn't say what cause of the problem is.. it could be one of a number of things. I'm guessing that the model was 'designed' to open with engines running so a usual cause of this not happening lies with a gauge. You might try aliasing the panel to something like the default 747 and see what pop's out
