Yep its a funny one. Very rarely mentioned, but given he's the patron Saint of England definately worth a celebration

Yes and a damning condemnation of us all is that it's taken an anglisized Irishman to remind us

I bet you celebrate St Paddy and St Jock too don't you mate??

What a
great situation to be in

I never really bother these days.... I'll have a pint on St. Paddys day, but thats about it. My days of drinking pints of the black stuff in dubious bars to get a silly hat are long gone

For the past week, I've been telling my colleagues that it's their patriotic duty not to go to work today. Seemed to fall on deaf ears

.
Oh well, I've got a couple of nice English ales lined up for later, so I can raise a toast to 'England and St George!'.
Happy St George's day.

Happy St Georges day to you all. When I was in London it got forgotten about, but now I'm here on the coast, there was a parade through the village today, flags and bunting everywhere and each and every shop entered the "best St georges Day' window competition!
KInd of makes me feel proud :-)

Happy St. George's Day to everyone in England. The Colonies have long forgotten St George, but they certainly remember St. Patrick.
