Just Imagine!

After several conversations recently with people who have never witnessed a 'decent' British Summer, it got me thinking. Just imagine if summers in the British Isles were 2 or 3 degrees warmer and more settled. Coupled with the fact that the British were the first to take holidays and establish holiday resorts (thanks largely to the railways) how would the smaller airports around the country have developed?
In my part of the country, the North West, how much busier and bigger would Squires Gate be? How about RAF Woodvale being a joint civil and RAF airfield? Valley serving the Welsh equivalent to Majorca! Ronaldsway, Caernarfon, Carlisle and others bringing European tourists to the many various attractions of the region. This of course would be replicated across the country and it throws up all sorts of possibilities. In fact I have now started to redevelop some of the aforementioned using AFCAD and Traffic Tools and any ideas or suggestions would be most welcome.
Just use your imagination and try to remember those long lost summers!
