Reducing Size of Videos

The following is probably is a very stupid question!!

When having done a video from a camcorder and before saving it to computer or disc is there a way to reduce the size to say play at size 320 x 240. The video itself will remain at whatever pixels it records at i.e. no reduction in recording quality (if you know what I mean) Incidentally, using Windows Movie Maker.

Any help or guidance appreciated.

Regards
Nigel.

Hi Nigel -
I bought a Canon Legria FS200 the other week, and the editing software that came with it lets me select a video and Export it as my choice of several formats, including for iPods and web sharing sites. I haven't tried it yet - still going for the type endorsement on the cam :S - but I am pretty sure if your cam is of fairly recent vintage, there would be something similar supplied with it.

Cheers

Unfortunately not.....my camera has a video recording facility and the software is utter rubbish so use Windows Movie Player, used the term camcorder so as not to confuse anyone apart from me that is!!

Just like to be able to reduce the size.

Nigel.

Cheers, Nigel -
This might be worth a look:

I used an earlier version a few years ago to do something for a neighbour - worked well, and didn't need three days learning to do a five minute job.
