Unconfirmed Reports of a mid-air collision between 2 Hawks displaying at Heraklion. 2 successful ejections reported and no reports of other injuries - let us hope that these reports are correct

The Greeks report that the one in hospital has broken legs and a 'he'. Two new Hawks will not look good with the beancounters though.

Hopefully he'll 'mend' in time for the full nine-ship, rather than an eight-ship for the start of the season.

Wonderful Daily Mail reporting

, statements like
'damage to the back wing' sums up the report rather well

. The actual damage in the photo can only be a result of contact with something and not an engine failure as such (but it can always be a contributing factor) , I wonder if these two were the syncho pair aircraft?
Still, only one Hawk lost ( judging from the photo of it's crah site, it's a write off in my book

) and one repairable. No major life threatening injuries either, good news all round.
