Post by tonymadge »

Not sure if anyone is aware but Capt Sim are letting you download and use the 767 for FSX in demo form, not sure what that limits etc, but at least its a step forward in letting you fly before you buy!

Please note, the Free Demo has the following limitations:
• No Extensive Systems Programming (ADI, HSI, EICAS displays inop)
• No Flight Management System, CDU inop
• Hundreds of Custom Animations inop
• No Flight Model (flight controls locked in the Demo)
• No Custom system sounds and crew voice messages
• No Exclusive visual Effects
• No Wing Flex
• No Wing Flaps Vortices
• Animation Control Panel inop
• No Authentic Sound Set (alias to default 737 sounds in the Demo)
• No Weather Radar
• No Aeronautical Data and Terminal Procedures
• No Repaint Kit

This is whats missing Tony....no banners or time limit though.... :cpu:

not much point downloading it with every feature missing

it won't look right or fly right or do anything without that lot
pointless as usual

When are Captainsim going to get a grip with the real market ???
probably never

They did the same with the 757 demo.

All you can do with it is see how pretty it looks 8)

Can't even get an indication of how it affects frame-rates with all the systems missing.

Thanks for the hu, Tony. :) With a hefty bit of stab trim you can nurse her into the air. Good luck getting her back down again, though.
