Classic British Flight Sim

Hi Guys,
I fitted a KLN90b gps to one of my planes but i get a CDT when i try to load a flightplan from the one in the VC
Before i give in and go back to the original, do any of you guys know what could cause this crash?

Might be an help to someone who can answer this to know the sim you're using and you O/S

Oh yeah, sorry, i'm running fs2004 on win xp. There was no problem at all with the garmin 500 fitted. All i did was removed the garmin and fitted the KLN. When a flightplan is loaded from the 2d popup it works fine, but i can't understand why i get CTD trying to load a flightplan from within the VC
