I'm a a South African Flight simmer. About two days ago I downloaded your HS 748 Aircraft of Simvation.com. One of the most recent models in their repaint section. I was really excited until I got it open and found that the VC has no sdewalls it is just the instrument panels and no side texture. Really strange. I'm particularly interested in this aircraft as SAA and Air Cape Flew them in the 70's and 80's. If somebody can point me in the right direction on how to rectify this, great. Meanwhile I've seen a few other things that I like and will be hanging about here awhile.

Welcome to the forums
Two questions
FS.9 or FS.X?
Did you download all three packs?

Hi Parksie,
Welcome to the fold.
I don't have the HS748
(I know...shame), but until someone more knowledgeable posts, I would suggest downloading the base pack or any other authorised textures from here http://classicbritishfiles.com/index.ph ... unc=search.
I know its not like Rick to release a job half done, so I think it might be an install problem, thats why I suggest downloading the (most recent) base pack from the above.
If that does not work, like I say, there are several 748 flyers here who will be most pleased to help.

oops
while I have been typing Garry has posted...top man

Re: HS748 cockpit woes
There was a pack uploaded to SimV a few days ago. That was NOT packaged or uploaded by Rick. If that is the one you downloaded, I suggest you delete that and get the official packs for either FS9 or FSX from our file library here http://www.cbfsim.net/library/thumbnails.php?album=6

Hi Gary,
Yes, it was a complete package and I installed it directly to my FSX/simobjects/airplanes folder. I'm on FSX-SP2

Ok, busy downloading now. Lets see. This looks a pretty neat sight. Will be good because a lot of early British aircraft used to operate in SA. When I learn how to repaint I may yet add some SA colors to them, with permission of course.
