Is FS Global 2008 any good?

Since the new one has been released, the 2008 version has now sunk to an almost affordable price - I've often wondered if it's actually worth the dosh?
It would be used in FSX.

I recently bought the version previous to the one you're enquiring about (2005?) for my FS9 for a knock down price on eBay. My Advice? Delete all of your mesh and buy it! Seriously!
