Hi Guys,

November was another very good month with 260 flights operated by 18 pilots. I personally had a good month bashing the PIA and Cyprus Airways Trident routes. Seing a 'full house' of awards in sight, I re-acquainted myself with the Super VC10 to try and seal the deal. So....... first places to me, Joe got four second places, Andy three. Third places went to DaveB with five and Andy mopping up the remaining two.

:worried: Eeerrrrrr... I think I managed 35 minutes and 20 miles taking the 748 from Guernsey to Jersey... Ooopps.

I'll get it back to a designated airport later on. Thing is, I've not flown anything else either. I've been sidetracked by shopping, and other games. Mass Effect is bloody good, as is Dead Space and for old time's sake I bought GTA: Vice City which has been getting a hammering.

Hi everyone,

Well done to all those who flew in November and here's hoping that December is as good.....

Funny how a change in lifes circumstances can have such an effect on your flying, I hardly seem to have flown in the last couple of months....

Ah well,

Take care

Andy

Well errr... I booked an IFR flight as cloud base was very low that day. Took off from Guernsey to the west, then got my approach vectors as I was pulling up the wheels. After being turned north to do a 180 towards France and then getting vectored for an ILS landing at Jersey from the east (I'm a good boy and listen to ATC, even when they're being silly) it had turned from a nice little up and down into a long old haul. Good job I fueled up cheaply in Guernsey for the expected return to Bristol.

Ah yes.the wonders of ATC planning

I was landing 09 once and ATC told me to go around which I did. 0:)

They gave me course and height and at 5000 over Cherbourg I gave up

Incientally all flights Gsy-Jersey 2,000 and Jersey Guernsey 1,000.
