I think you may see some more British gold coming from Paul -- There are a bunch of us who have been very priveledged
(of course this is true with all the great builders around here and the Pond) to watch this aeroplane develop - Like Dave Molys Auster's there is an incredible amount of love in this model.

Definitely a lot of love put into this aircraft, Leif...

...textured bolts.

...an incredibly detailed engine.

I continue to be amazed by all of the high-quality aircraft produced by the artists here at CBFS and The Pond. The love of the subject truly comes through with each release. Awesome work, fellas. Thank you so much to all of you for sharing your passion with the rest of us. :)

What soundset could I use with the Swallow?

AD - Its set up for the Ryan NXP sound set in the current Fs9 version (Thats what comes with it)
presently there isnt a sound set for a Pobjoy engine so I guess you can but any sound set you wish with it.
The Pobjoy was a geared radial and has a very very particular sound - Many liken it to a sewing machine -- my own memories of flying in a swallow were the fact that you could hear the tappet noise.

Just do EVERYONE a favor and DONT clone the King AIr sound to it theres a good lad ;)

I've tried cloning the sounds from the Wright Flyer to the Swallow. It definitely has a "ticking" noise kind of like that of a sewing machine but I'm not sure if it's closer to the real thing more than the Ryan. *-)

The thing about the wright flyer would be the Bike chains
;)

But the Pobjoy has a bit more guts than that

We are still trying to contact a Swallow owner to make an accurate sound file

I'm going to have to use something else for the FSX version (no ryan in FSX) so I may have to hack about a few sound files before I get it totally finished.
