Probably not much interest for this one here, but anyway...
The aircraft isn't British, but the airline is

Nicely done Dave

That's where I usually park at Aldergrove if I can get in

If it's NOT Aldergrove.. I don't park there!
Yunno.. that's the first time I've really looked at a 767 and had thought for a long time it was little more than a bigger 75'. In reality, it's more like the Triple7 than the 75' isn't it

HI Dave. Yes, that's UK2000 Aldergrove. My usual starting point these days
I prefer the 76' over the 75'. Something about the shape of the nose on the 75' I just don't like.

They fitted the wide body cockpit of the 767 to the narrow body 757 almost at the last minuet so the result can be fairly described as unusual or perhaps interesting

Nice one there Dave. I always loved the Monarch colours, so this one's for my collection too.
I always though the 75x has a more fishy nose than the 76x. For a long time I thought that that was the only difference. But the 76x series never had Rolls Royce power like the 75x (as far as I can remember - but correct me if I'm wrong

).

AFAIK RR RB-211 have been fitted to 767's

Yep, i was pretty sure the 767 has RR as an option. Much prefer the look of the &% though, much more graceful. 767 looks like a 757 that had a few too many Micky D's
RE Monarch, love the old liverys but not a fan of the new one.

Hi there Garry, you're quite right. I looked around at all the loyal RR airlines like BA, Singapore, Cathay, etc and it seems that the BA B763's were indeed RR RB-211 powered, as did the B757 mostly have the RR RB-211 as its power source. RR, the real MacCoy of engines.

Yep, exactly, thats why I don't like it. Bit 'Donald Duck', isn't it.
