Glad you like them Nigel.I have taken so many photos since we moved up here.In fact it has rekindled my interest in photography.I'll try not to post too many. :) EricT

Nice shots, good use of the light.

Technically the RN/RAF aircraft aren't S61s, being Westland Sea Kings, S61s are Sikorsky built civilian cabs and there are quite a few differences the Westland ones actually being better strangely!

I have seen that used but it depends on what you mean by officially! From MoD's point of view the picture is of a Sea King HAR.5, AgustaWestland seem to generally call it the Sea King, the aircrew normally use some variation on Sea King, The Mighty King etc. WS61 might work for a flight plan though as I think they're restricted to four characters.
