You are quite right Paul...I thought that, as I posted it. I had assumed that it was a Painted Lady as we have seen so many recently...Then those roundels started me thinking "Hey, I reckon it is a Peacock" :lol:

but it's aerodynamically fit and it certainly flys ..so technically this could be put to the CBFS section :)

I agree, a classic flying brit.
Fewer of them these days than in my youth, though I found hundreds in Barmouth last week.

The Painted Lady is a visitor to these shores so technically not a brit :)

Gosh, Peter, you live and learn! I never realised before that sundials were - or should be - specific to a latitude. Lovely pics anyway
