............................and I'm not.

But RAF Mount Pleasant, Falkland Islands wasn't commisioned until 1985, 3 years after the war. Before that there was Port Stanly airfield and 3 successive carriers I believe. Was going to buy it but there doesn't seem to be a lot going for it judging by the screenshots. Anyone here bought it?

thought!!! LOL worse than that, im considering emailing them or the developer saying its a waste of money! And yes there is the "War locations" but its all in one BGL so you couldnt turn them off without breaking the BGL down... Its prob best to make the Mount Pleasant airbase yourself out of freeware objects! And it doesnt look nice with the Falklands land class/scenery update either...

I didn't realise you'd made the switch to FSX Peter. Can we expect an FSX version of Mcleland Field?

No Chris...Dave is right, I uninstalled FSX about 2 years ago and there will not be an FSX version of my base

Hi Dave, i have the same scenery for FS9 somewhere on my hard drives... But not used, sadly that scenery beats this poor attempt hands down! Wish that was updated to FSX standards and ill be a happy chappy... Anyways ive reviewed it on the site... I may try and do a better job sometime, thats after i finish off the Range set and Weapons pack 2...

Try this for fs9:
http://walhalla.mine.nu/fs2004.php#falklands
And this for FSX (Mostly mesh'es and landclass)
http://walhalla.mine.nu/fsx.php#falklands
Several "AFCADS" in both versions of the Sim are available from either Flightsim or Avsim

I saw the screenshots of this and nearly fell off my chair laughing!
15 quid for 680kb of scenery is not value for money, whoever is marketing this is having a laugh. If it were freeware, it would be a bit steep!
