classic british traffic files?

hi gents,
I am looking for traffic files that include smaller British lines for the period 57-63.
I already run Tom Gibson's ai files.
query: at retro ai, there are many british airlines, all 1967 files.
Can they be backdated to represent the propliner period?
any links or advice appreciated
thx
cman

Hi Circleman and welcome to the forum
We have some AI flightplans uploaded here..
http://www.cbfsim.org/cbfsim/cbfsBB/vie ... =13&t=4700 but I'm not sure how close these will be for what you need.
The problem with backdating traffic files is they're all set up for a particular set of aircraft which travel at a given speed/s so while it's far from impossible to do, it's not a 5min job either. If you're au fait with TrafficTools (TTools) you can fiddle to your hearts content and get the mix you want but you'll need a lot of patience.. a lot more than I have

thx dave~
good to be here. It's a nice community.
I have enough TTools skill to swap planes, no more.
P*tience isnt my strong suit.
thx for the links,

Hi cman
Welcome aboard
As Dave says and we have a few folks well into creating retro AI some using the models here so you should get all the help you need

Welcome Cman
looking forward to your AI stuff -- we will acept anything you feel fit to publish next door at "The Pond:" (
www.classicbritishfiles.com)
Im working on some new older GA AI using Dave Molyneaux's Auster and Miles Products -- there is a little tool that will convert just about any
normal Fs9 aircraft down to a simpler AI Model -- I'll post the link when I get home from work

If you dont have these tools they will help you greatly
First is the GW simulations AI flight planner available --
http://www.freewebtown.com/gwsimulations/ here
The Other is Marcus Brunner's GA Traffic generator (This will convert noral FS9 models to AI models reducing the poly count_
However the only place I could find it was at Avsim -- so if you want a copy PM me and I will email it to you
