Nice shot Chris.. serious lack of AAR bits though

I guess the RAF don't trust Johnny Foreigner to fit the necessary ;-)
Don't forget.. at least 2 'regulars' here will be pleased to see that. The VC10 can't go on forever and they still need a job

I'd quite like to see the RAF get the KC-10 Extender. Its a very capable aircraft from what I have read. Mind you , I believe Bruntingthorpe is also in the race .

Problem with the KC-10 is it is a very old aeroplane now...........and of course it's butt ugly
At least this is a British as it gets and the wings are the clever bit that makes it do it's job properly

Let's see.... a bit of steel tubing, a second stick, couple of bolts and a jubilee clip...... an easy L/R conversion!

I think he'll be ok as he would tend to fly left handed anyway being Captain.. it's just that the control is further over to the left and a completely different shape!

At least there's no control column to get in the way of the in-flight curry ;-)
Odd.. I can fly with a yoke left handed no problem.. not so with a joystick

It must be odd flying with the left hand, but then with the nose pointing downwards

and mountains on three sides :o you soon pick it up
