any one buy the DoDoSim 206 for FSX?
a little salty at 57.00 US but worth it. I like the realism and have heard from many 206 RW helo pilots it's a very good sim model
....if your into the aircraft type where the wings move much faster than the airframe
I like it
alot

The Dodosim 206 is like night and day with any other helo in the sim, I can't be bothered flying any other helicopter since getting this, I just wish they could push out a large variety of models to this standard of control in very short order. For now the 206 is the only Helo really worth flying, nothing else responds properly and that makes a big difference on how you fly it.

I'd tend to agree with you....In real life the movement on the cyclic that the pilot inputs is like the total width of a ten p piece.....Tiny....Black shark replicates this very good IMHO...

I like the cumulative on with the heat cranked up to 5! (level of difficulty)
the biggest difference I've found is the use of pedal when decending to land, to much and it robs the torque needed for the main rotor.
and the required counteration to the action input.
also the startup
wish

it had more operable buttons in the cockpit
but , understanding the level of flight characteristics (programimg them into FSX since they arn't there)
I'll be happy with the trade off.

sorry to hear your laid-up
but you should know you can't drive the ambulance
AND treat the patient at the same time...
speedy recovery to you

Level 5 all the way for me too, first time I tried starting up without reading anything first and I had this almighty fire on the roof

:fart:
Working the pedals in relation to the flight speed and changing collective inputs is most rewarding and look out for the wind direction if you don't want to get into trouble fast.
Add to that the sound effects with torque loading, blade slap and the dreaded ring vortex completes the experience.

me too on the hot start ,
but got a few pointers from a pilot and got that all sorted

of coarse the first question he asked........ did you RTFM ?
........
uh
I thumbed through it ...........then used it to swat the fire... HELP
and your right about the wind , gezz Louise !
