Cockpit Fest

Whilst Dave was probably biting his fingernails down to the elbow yesterday in anticipation of start problems for the Vanguard I took a leisurely drive down to Newark Air Museum as Sunday was forecast as rain :-( ....Yeah...spot on.....now at 25deg and very sunny :@
Met up with Brian Withers who was (no need to guess) with the Shackelton and spent quite some time speaking to him as well as other members of the Shackleton crew, may have been a bit too long talking as when I looked round towards the rear of the Shack there were others patiently queuing to come up front.
Really nice to have met Brian.
Back to the car for a few sandwiches, crisps and a can of coke when I heard a familiar sound, on looking up the B of B Dakota did 3 low passes before flying off to the west.

A 737 cockpit for Flight Simulator though the company will make a cockpit up to order. Presently I am down to a choice of two. The Trident or BAC 1-11 though 8 grand+ is a bit more than I can afford at the moment (Will have to wait til I get me pension) and the wife has already stated if she finds one in the garage then that is where I will be sleeping!!

Regards
Nigel.
