I've never understood the restrictions on taxy speeds in the VA.....taxying is much faster....note the BMA Herald at the end :)

Still got the spotting skills from that long ago (ie which one is the DC-8 on approach?). And it even has a VC10 in it.

PS the fast taxi speed may be a result of the film being played back faster than original. On the Elmdon video by the same guy in same year, everything else (people and vehicles) seem to be a bit fast as well :)

Aircraft taxy fast here.......the Viscounts normal speed was about 35 mph :) if ever a car was following an aircraft the car looked really fast the aircraft being big no so but on board we were zipping up the taxyway

Right...... must look at the LHR one :)

That was so obviously a Coronado.

No the one before the V-Jet (Qantas). Yes the Air Canada. And it looked like the South African 707 was going to land nose-wheel first.

And I guessed Leif would appreciate the Britannia in the Glasgow video :)

Funny Garry -- the Brits seemed to adopt a sort of nose down attitude on finals -- took me almost ten years to find out why -- you cant see a damn thing out front if your sitting - the only people that had a decent view was the FE with his seat jacked up and the loadmaster standing behind him ;)
