Marine AI

Hello,

I've been trying for a few hours now to install Shep's PlymouthFalmouthAI package onto my FS2004 set up. I think I have followed the instructions in the readme file correctly, but although a new traffic.bgl is detected and then installed, I dont see any shipping.

I then added the ship files to my AI list and then tried to recreate my own .bgl by changing the AC# numbers of the original flightplan.txt to reflect what I had in my aircraft text file. Everything seemed to look good and after compiling the three files and rebooting the sim, I still dont have any ships at either Falmouth or Plymouth.

Its all a little bit of trial and error and I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. I just cant see what it is!!

Hi Martin. Have you tried to contact Shep? He is one of the most helpful guys around the FS scene. Click on his name on the VFR Forums, then e-mail him from there.

I recall having problems myself with those ships, but Ray sorted them out for me. I don't fly FS9 these days, so I can't check it out for you.

Cheers for that. I did have a look in the Visual Flight forums on the subject and did notice some of your screenshots. I'll send Shep an email.

I did quite a lot of work for him when he was developing the autogen trees for Cornwall. Was his main beta-tester so to speak and also sent some air to grounds to show the barren areas i.e. Bodmin Moor and the strip at Roserrow.

Ummm I've had a very nice reply from Ray and he says that if I follow all the instructions as per the readme file that it should work. But, I didnt install the marinascene zip first, so that was my wrongdoing!!

Cant try it out tonight as am to see Ultravox tonight in Plymouth.........can't wait!!!
