Following on from a few posts in different threads I went digging through an old scrap book I had and managed to find the missing aircraft...

Techy, it was a SD360, and it was blue, but wasn't house :$ Me and my friend at the Newtownards Airshow, probably '85 coming out of the unidentified 360, with the US Army Sherpa in front....

The hidden 707 in the earlier pics. No idea of the reg or what the two tone blue livery used to be (not KLM) Summer '86 at Dublin
[EDIT] Just found her on A.net http://www.airliners.net/search/photo.s ... entry=true Seems she had an eventful life.

And another one at Dublin, A CL44, Dak and a Junkers all in one shot.

Cheers Ben, the photos are crap. I forgot I had them, they were taken with an old 110 camera that I borrowed from my Aunt as my Dad wouldn't lend me his Konica  It was a great experience. The guy who took us round (Brian I think) was a friend of my Aunt's she'd met him and his wife in Canada in '75. They then moved to Dublin, where Brian was a ground engineer for Aer lingus (If I remember rightly) I'f I knew then what i know now I'd have taken so many more photos!

Here is me in EI-ANG BAC - 1-11

Nice shots Ben. I have one similar of me somewhere in the flightdeck in an Aer Lingus 737 aged about 10yrs when I flew from EGCC - EIDW, in the days when children could go and see the cockpit during the cruise.

I recall seeing the CL-44 in a state of stripdown at Dublin when we landed. Your shots brought back some great memories. :)

Cheers mate.
