Classic British Flight Sim

now that some of the routes are in

free ware aircraft, i have flown the A300 using Benoit Guarands panel on the FFX A300/b4 model, excellent no issues, both can be found on avsim/flightsim.

for the B737-200 i have been using the tinmouseII B737-200, this is apparently the aborted payware model from flight1.

it it totaly excellent complete with fully functional overhead panel, all the right sounds, callouts etc except you will need to edit 1 line in the aircraft cfg file under fuel and it is this one

if you dont the aircraft will fill up to max fuel while you are taking off no matter if you set the fuel in FS or use FSairlines

also you will be overwieght on most landings busting the nose gear constantly

the files can be found on avsim/etc make sure you are version 1.22 the download comes as 1.2,the patches can be found on avsim etc mine already was patched to 1.22

engine type and fuel guages can be changed just by typing a line in the header, on any model so i have -15 engines and the fuel guages in KGs... not sure what engines Dan Air had the engine choices seem to be -9/-15/17R

as requested to change engines -9/-15/17 or fuel (kG's/LB's) or alt setting (inches/millibars)

go to the aircraft cfg file

for example

to change this lets say downgrade the thrust to -9 engines, have the fuel flow and contents in KG's and the altimeter setting from inches to millibars

you do this

how cool is that, it works for each model so you can have several varients
