Just been over to the Aeroplane Heaven site for the first time in months.

They have a new bit of site showing works in progress. Several interesting projects, but the quality item is first on the list

http://www.aeroplaneheaven.com/dev_studio.htm so looks like 2009 is going to a the year of the Comet :tunes:

Looks lovely. But DM's work is more than enough for my standards. So I won't be reaching for the plastic.

I've said it before but hey ho. I wish these payware developers would focus their talents on aviation heritage that has'nt been done yet. Many of these clever folk out there can really come up with some outstanding aircraft but they also run the risk of wasting their time, in this case a freeware comet is already out there with all the trimmings for absolutely nothing and will no doubt take a chunk of of their wages.

Apart from that it looks the business.

But for that reason. I'm out...Image

Credit where its due, it does "look" like a nice version. But I don't have a need for it ;-)

I also have no use for such a product when David's wonderful model is so readily available, with a price thats hard to beat.

And for that reason I am also out.

Not reason enough for me to part with my kids inheritance, even if I had any,

So I'm out.

Well, I suppose that is what happens when the Marketing People are allowed to take control of the asylum.
As Sam Goldwyn said, "Include me out".
Is anyone from AH able to explain why their offering is better than Dave Maltby's?

It's nearly New Year down here, so I wish a happy and successful one, to those who deserve it :-(

Cheers

Looks like an FSX model maybe? I don't no that its any better, but lets give encouragement to anyone giving it a go. I'm supportive of anyone making new models of these aircraft as anything which gives more folk an opertunity to enjoy them is to be encouraged. Ans as I said before it looks rather nice, so fair play to anyone who gives it a go.
