New European mesh needed

I'm in the market for a decent European mesh so the world doesn't look so flat. I previously had FSGlobal 2008 installed, however it's just sitting and gobbling up hard disk space as I never fly anywhere outside of Europe so it's all rather pointless. Can anyone recommend some decent freeware or payware meshes that just cover Europe?

Hi Chris..
On the payware front.. how about Ultimate Terrain Europe  Not tried it but I DO have UT Canada/Alaska which I have to say is rather good ;-)

I was under the impression Ultimate terrain wasn't a mesh, but rather landclass and textures?

Chris,
There are a few freeware mesh files for FS9 available on Avsim and Flightsim. I've downloaded France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland as well as Cyprus, Israel and Egypt. These are the ones I've looked for but there may be others. I also have the original VFR terrain for the UK.
I've had no problems with any of these, including in areas where they overlap.

Chris,
I have another variation on the fsglobal package - whose name escapes me in the office

- and it allows me to just load up parts of the world that I want.
Maybe you could deselect the bits of Fsglobal2008 that you don't want?
If you can put up with the faff of downloading a number of files, then you can find mesh at simviation that maps most of the world in something like 14MB chunks. There is a map showing the layout worldwide of the individual files.
http://simviation.com/fsdterrainsrtm.htm
I've used some of these to "top-up" the lower level mesh from fsglobal in some areas in fs2004 with no real issues.

Chris..
Sri mate.. I believe you're right. However.. such is the difference made by the UT Alaska/Canada package I have.. you can be mistaken for thinking it has it's own mesh too. Worth considering even if ultimately, it's not exactly what you're after ;-)

Do a search at Avsim for "mesh Yohann Baptiste", you'll find 13 parts that cover Europe and do it well, then add the alps mesh from Holger Sandmann and Jonathan de Ferranti to get the extra level of detail there and your all set.
