Vista SP1

There was a thread a while back about Windows Update holding back on installing SP1 on some Vista systems. The general advice on the interweb seemed to be to wait it out as Microsoft had your best interests at heart
Just in case anybody else is still wondering where it is ... I've got three laptops running Vista Home Premium and I've left them to the mercy of auto-update. The first one updated to SP1 within a couple of weeks of it being released. The second one updated about a month ago and the third one updated yesterday
I've no idea why the different timings, but I just thought I'd mention it in case anybody is still waiting - hang on in there!
There's no obvious performance difference, I think all the improvements are security and reliability stuff.
