Hi Garry,

Not looked at Air Malta routes much. We've already got the airframe in the fleet and as I understand it they were like a joint BEA/AM operation anyway. I do see a couple of extra AM routes we can add as some point.

Hi John

Yes it was BEA not Air Malta....that came later

This was called BEA the Malta Airline and was a BEA collusion with the Maltese Government who had no airline and lasted until the Maltese formed their own.

They used marked Viscounts and at least one Comet but that may not have been marked. The Comet was replaced by the Trident which was new at the time

It was in effect a British Airline but I guess it gave the Maltese a seperate identity in a reciprical agreement which would otherwise have just been BEA.....similar later with British Asia Airlines which was BA or not, depending on who you were talking to

All I was thinking really was use those aircraft on BEA Maltese routes in the modified livery.

Just an idea :)

Hi Guys,

For some reason there wasn't a flightplan for the Nicosia to Tel Aviv route which is now rectified. Additionally, the Nicosia to Ankara route now extends to Istanbul.
