Classic British Flight Sim

For the past few weeks I have been unable to download files from Avsim on either IE or Firefox!

I cannot even get through using the link at the bottom of the page (which used to work well), now it tells me I need a password! I am signed in BTW!
The DL pages just sit and stare or somestimes just remain blank RTFM .

I suspect an automatic security upgrade somewhere has caused it, anybody else had troubles?

Just checked and it's OK for me

However I have always had to click the link as it has never launched automatically

The Avsim download appears as a pop-up and I get a warning to say pop-up blocked with options to accept etc etc. Maybe you have some sort of pop-up blocker running that just stops them without any options to accept them ?

Thanks guys, no, I told the IE pop-up blocker that the site is OK and in Firefox I get about 10% of the download and it then just stops!

I've done a lot of Avsim downloading recently with IE and Firefox and no problems, but Google Chrome invariably tells me 'file not found' despite being logged in. Which is probably no help to you at all, Trev. But there you go ...

Perhaps if those two won't work for you, then Chrome will
