Real Environment Exreme - REX

Has anyone been following the saga here

This is page 1. The thread is now at page 112 but there are lots of screenshots on the way, although some seem to be a bit repetitive.
If it delivers what it promises, it will be an absolute stunner and probably the add-on of the year. The good news is that it will be available for FSX and FS2004.

If this is the one I think it is, its out already, (certainly the FSX version) I think its excellent. Been using it for 4 months or so now. I'll check when I get home.

Is REX the FS9 name for FEX? If so FEX is superb!

I've only just moved up to GEPro for FS9 as it's being discounted for GE users

Anything that makes FSX look better than it is can only be a good thing ;-)

Ben,
REX and FEX are completely different programs. I have FEX and thought it was excellent until I found out about REX. It's going to be $40 for each version and it will include a flight planner and a weather warning module. It also includes a vast range of water textures as well as runway markings. It looks brilliant with photo real clouds and sunsets.
