No flying in this one and it's not even British, but it's very pretty...Just a walk around, enjoying the scenery:-

Great shots, I was in St Maarten a couple of years ago, working!! where did you get the scenery from? I have revisited the place on fsx but would love to go back soon. the approach is probably the most spectacular i've seen in real life.
regards

Dave

Dave and Nigel...Thanks for looking...You might just like to go back again and check out the full thread...Jonesey has just added a set of real life photos and a video that he took there. Fascinating to see just how very accurate the FlyTampa scenery is :dancer:

Dave the scenery is FlyTampa and I just love it...Masses of things going on and very kind to frame rates. I have already spent a great number of hours there in FS9 and have imported some Windsurfers and a Catamaran into the bay at McLeland Field. The selection of working boats, both Sailing and Power, is amazing. It is also served by Aerosoft's AES and that is one reason I bought the scenery :flying:

Hi Peter, just took another look and very impressed I have to say. The vid of the flight was brilliant though the runway appeared somewhat short from the approach!! :o

Regards
Nigel.

A man was killed at St Barts a few weeks ago

Standing on the beach watching an aeroplane take off.....it took a longer than expected run and he was hit by one of the tyres

Garry...I noticed a big warning sign on the beach at St. Maarten and it shows clear enough to read on the 15th picture in my main thread. I expect they have a similar sign at St. Barts...I can't help feeling that some aircraft at these places fly a bit lower because of the keen watchers.

BTW...Due to a very simple AFCAD programming error, we nearly lost a windsurfer at my base today...Pictures in my last answer to Jonesey in the original thread :$

There is quite a large area that has been marked as the danger zone and they are very strict about people being in it when plane are due now. We didn't realise and had the airport fire engine racing down the runway to chase us off! :o Nothing has been done about the 10 approach though.
