Just one thing, how many Vulcans were in RAF service with wraparound camouflage, if any?

this one represents XH558, which is currently wrap around

That's a Vulcan display flight example, though. I know both XH558 and XL426 were painted up in such schemes for the VDF, but was just wondering if there were any wraparound Vulcans in front line RAF service.

We've been working on a Vulcan over at IRIS and this came up in a discussion, if memory serves (it may not, I'll have to check) it was pointed out that only 15 non display-flight Vulcans ever wore the wraparound scheme and that was at the end of their service lives; 558's scheme is in no way authentic and it was simply designed to be representative of the Vulcan fleet as a whole. In fact I believe the wraparound jobs starting appearing the same time others were being painted with dark grey undersides (i.e those being readied for possible use in the Falklands). Also 558 looks a bit odd compared to "genuine" wraparound examples because she was given a high gloss finish which changes how the colours appear, and she was also given a soft edged pattern on the camouflage itself, I believe (again I may be wrong) that only the MRR Vulcans in the 70's had soft edged camo, the others were all hard edged.

Edit : I'm not sure how accurate this is but here's a supposed list of aircraft that wore the wraparound scheme that appeared after a bit of googling about the subject:
XH561, XL318, XL359, XL389, XL425, XL426, XL427, XL444, XL445, XM575, XM605, XM648, XM652, XM657, XH558.

As you can see the wraparound colours look rather different to how 558 looks currently (and how she did when displaying with the VDF).

Didnt 607 have a rap around, especially on her trip to Red Flag in her desert undersides...
