Looks more like a BT-67 than a DC-3 to me.
Either way it was evidently repaired. Strong planes, those DC-3s (and BT-67s) are.

It was repaired ?? :o
Looking at the damage in the fifth photo down, and considering its remote location, I would have thought it was a write-off.

The Dc-3 & derivitives use mineral based hydraulic fluid which is red. Skydrol is supposed to be a light purple but its often difficult to make the colour out.
