The first AFG Caravelle is available now from AVSIM. Downloading as I type. I'm looking forward to this charming French lady

I am sure it was to have a VC? This model is just with 2D panels! It looks super all the same

I had an early beta.. not even that probably oh, some decades ago and it looked stunning then. Can't see it will have gone downhill so I reckon it really must look the doggies now ;-)

This took a little while to download - seems everyone wants it.
The external view of the aircraft is excellent - as is the 2D panel.
There is a high level of complexity to this, so don’t expect to download and go flying straight away.
I love the pop-up flightdeck diagram with the clickable panels. From this you can easily access all of the required systems. There are also several hidden clickspots to access the same windows.
This should keep you all entertained for the foreseeable future
10 out of 10 for AFG.
Now, where did I put that Anglo-French dictionary?
Regards
Kevin

uh, I have not installed this yet. I downloaded it from avsim and according to Kaspersky anti virus, the .exe that is included in the zip file is has adware inbeded in it. actually so dose the mirag2000 exe. from the same site.
hope this wasn't deliberate. :@
it identifies it as
not-a-virus:AdWare.Win32.EShoper.ba
it can't be removed so I had to delete the file.
can anybody else that is more computer savy confirm this.
it is the following files from avsim.
afgc3af1.zip
mirage_2000_n_basic_pack.zip
I didn't download it but I would be willing to bet that afgc3ain.zip has it too.

HI!
Finally it has been released!
This is absolutly stunning!!! The panel is very complete and complex, but it is a beauty to fly!
Well done to all at AFG! And also to Mark Cranston for the nice sounds! CHEERS
Soft landings!
:flying:
P.S. Some antivirus software indentify installers as containing virus, but they are safe!

Hi bigred..
As it happens.. I ran a full system scan on a new pc in the wee hours (kept waking the good lady up by coughing from the cold she's given me so got up!!) and saw exactly the same Kaspersky message come up when it scanned FSC Austrian Airports.exe. For now.. I've added it to the 'trusted zone' as I've not installed it on this pc yet. I don't think it's going to be a problem (the AV on the pc it IS installed on hasn't had a problem with it) and it could be Kaspersky being picky. I'll have a look at the file structure on the installed pc and see if I can identify the file's mentioned then perhaps install to a temp drive on this one. Of course.. the best thing to do is not install if you're unhappy. It does make you wonder what the hell this file is for doesn't it
