Classic British Flight Sim

Hello all.

It's been a while since I poked my head in here, but I think I have a good excuse!

You may recall a little while ago I posted that myself and two friends had started a small company centred around the restoration of a Piper L4, http://www.planeheritage.com. Well, today the next stage in the companies development has taken place and I'm delighted to announce that as of 15:30 today, we are now the proud owners of de Havilland Tiger Moth G-ADXT!



Work will now start on gaining our AOC allowing us to offer pleasure flights in the aircraft, which will be based at Goodwood, so, if you need a Christmas or Birthday present, you know where to come ;-)

Interesting times ahead!

Didn't that Tiger Moth appear in a Poirot episode, supposedly ending up on its nose. (It was on the other night - the Moth was about the only interesting bit!)

I obviously missed your previous post about the new company, looks very good though, and I'd seen pictures of the naked Cub on t'web and in the press at Goodwood - although didn't know it was yours at the time.

As for the Tiger, are you just going to use it for pleasure flying, or will you also be offering it for training in the future; as I'm sure you know there aren't many places one can learn (or convert to an aeroplane with the tailwheel at the right end of the aeroplane!) on a Tiger.

Sure it wasn't a Stampe? I only ask as someone asked a very similar question on another forum - and that particular episode (3.09) was a Stampe...

the Cub is without doubt the nicest flying AMERICAN aircraft I have ever had the pleasure of flying
