558 was a show stealer as well as the "whispers quietly" A380.........piccies will be posted soon....

I was there too - Exactly 30 years since I last went, though can't remember it as I was only 5!

Only went this time to see 558....Fantastic! Ok, it is a sedate display, but who cares!! She's in the sky!
And the DC-6 was the other main one I went to see, just lovely! As was the Catalina.

Also enjoyed the A380 - fantastic low speeds, though a high speed pass would have been nice.

Great to go back to a historic venue, and the 60th anniversary of it! ;-)

Looks like that nose section is off 1-11 G-AVMZ mate :lol: DC6 looks a treat doesn't it :rock:

Oh.. by the looks of things, the 1-11 nose is still registered to European who were the last operators of the type ;-)

Nothing much on it sadly

It was broken up at Bournemouth and than taken to Alton in Hampshire

Now moved again it seems
