Very nice, Brian. Thanks.
I remember building the Airfix 727 when I was younger and this wore the same colour scheme. I've always thought of this as the best TWA scheme, and never liked the later 'red tail' scheme.
Thanks again - I assume I'll find it at Avsim.

Hi Kevin,
I don't think the repaint is available at Avsim...you can find the repaint at flightsim.com. The file name is 'DC910TWA.ZIP'. The SGA base file name is 'SGA910.zip' and I imagine it can be found at most major FS sites.

I agree that the "twin-globe" livery was TWA's finest. I grew up relatively close to a TWA maintenance facility so I'm rather partial to TWA.

At our local pizzeria, when I was a kid, I once came across a truck hauling a tarp-covered jet engine for TWA. The truck driver had stopped for lunch. Of course I couldn't let the opportunity to see up-close an un-cowled jet engine sneak past. I felt just like a kid peeking under the circus tent, gazing at that engine. Ahhh, memories. ;-)

Nice little repaint on a nice little bird!
I've always been partial to United's liveries from the '60s, too...simple and understated, yet still classy. Unlike the latter '60s themselves (or so I'm told)... ;-)
